If you’ve ever said to yourself “I’m not funny…” this is the workshop for you.
What makes comedy “comedy”?
How do I approach a comedy play as an actor?
How do I know if I’m funny?
It’s no secret that the greatest dramatic actors are brilliant character comedians; but can you learn to be funny? If you ever thought there was a great mystery to being funny on stage, think again. Unlock scenes from comedy plays, classic character tropes and other principles of comedy in a workshop setting that warmly embraces failure - and encourages you to do it again!
Rosie Nicholls is an award winning character comedian and writer (Grubby Little Mitts) and classically trained actor (BOVTS). Rosie won the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2022 and is represented by Ebdon Management. She is the producer of Sketch Book Comedy, the home of sketch comedy in London.
